The trips are only open to AA family members (people who have taken a MatriClan or PatriClan Test and their extended family).

Yes, the AAFR price is all inclusive. It includes airfare from Washington DC, lodging (4-5 star), all meals, ground transportation in country and scheduled activities.

You will only see the trip details once you enter a valid Kit ID and the email used when you took your test.

Your unique African Ancestry Kit ID can be found on your results letter and on your Kit Information Booklet. Any request for a lost Kit ID must be emailed to info@africanancestry.com.

African Ancestry Family Reunion Tours are 100% non-refundable. We must receive your cancellation notice in writing by email to Travel@Africanancestry.com, fax or overnight courier, and your cancellation date will be the date on which we receive your notice.

  •       If we receive your cancellation notice forty-five (45) days or more from the Tour departure date, we will credit eighty percent (80%) of the Tour price towards another Tour that takes place within 12 months.
  • If we receive your cancellation notice forty-four (44) days or fewer prior to the departure date, we will retain one hundred percent (100%) of the Tour price.

Yes.  Each country has it’s own COVID-19 requirement for entry.  We will share relevant sites, links and current information regarding COVID-19 testing requirements for all AAFR countries.

COVID Tests are not covered in the package prices.  Each individual traveler is responsible for covering the costs of any COVID tests required prior to enter the country, upon entry and required to exit and upon return.  We will however, facilitate and include the test required to exit in our itinerary according to requirements.
